but would u wait 10 years just for one night with the person you love or would u just move on?
I know it's getting way off the subject of this stamp, which I hope you'll be willing to forgive. But it's just that when I saw this stamp, this is what it made me think of.
..I mean honestly, 10 years is a pretty maddeningly long time by human terms when you think about it. Do you remember much of anything 10 years ago?
I thought she was asking a bit much, and he asked for so little in return. Even that, apparently, was more than she was willing to make the time for, which I find pretty unreasonable. And if that's the case, and she didn't feel it worth her time to defy her "nature" for just one stinking day (like it would've killed her), why not just let him know right from the start that his feelings for her were ultimately unrequited? That's where the connection in my mind to this stamp came from.
Honestly, what kind of a goddess is that? But it's only my opinion and I seem to be going off on a rant here. And if you disagree and are a Calypso supporter, I apologize for that.
I think that is would have been worth it, because if you think about it they are not mortals, they are both not humans so they will both llive for alot longer then us, and ok it is a bit of a long stretch but if they loved each other enough they should have tried, colypso did still love him but she didnt go back to meet him and that but im still confussed about but yeahh :/
